Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy applies when you purchase a recurring Surgie membership or another offer identified at checkout as a subscription.

It supplements the Terms of Service and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Plan, price and included benefits

The plan name, billing frequency, recurring price, currency, applicable taxes and included benefits are displayed on the offer page and at checkout.

A Surgie membership may include:

• member pricing;
• credits;
• access to selected content;
• access to selected channels;
• educational resources;
• community or event access; or
• other benefits expressly described in the offer.

A membership does not include every Surgie video, channel, event, creator product or downloadable resource unless the offer expressly states that it does.

Content purchased separately is governed by the access conditions displayed for that individual purchase.

2. Automatic renewal authorization

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

By completing a subscription checkout, you authorize Surgie and its payment providers to charge the payment method associated with your subscription at the recurring interval and price displayed at checkout.

A new checkout is not required for each renewal.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account and payment information.

Applicable taxes, currency conversion charges and financial-institution charges may apply as disclosed at checkout or by your provider.

3. Billing date

The first paid billing period begins on the date confirmed at checkout, subject to any expressly disclosed trial or promotional period.

Future charges are ordinarily attempted on the corresponding renewal date.

The exact processing time may vary according to the payment provider, time zone, billing calendar and month length.

4. Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, Surgie or the subscription provider may:

• retry the charge;
• notify you of the failed payment;
• request updated payment information;
• restrict membership benefits;
• suspend access; or
• cancel the subscription after applicable retry attempts.

A failed payment does not necessarily cancel the subscription automatically.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time without a cancellation fee:

• through the subscription-management option in your account, when available;
• through an authorized subscription-management link included in a Surgie communication; or
• by emailing hello@surgie.com with the subject Subscription Cancellation.

When cancelling by email, send the request from the email address associated with the subscription and identify the applicable plan.

A cancellation request must be received before the next renewal charge is initiated to prevent that renewal.

Surgie may verify account ownership before processing an emailed request.

Surgie will confirm cancellation or request only the information genuinely necessary to identify and protect the subscription.

6. Effect of cancellation

Cancellation ordinarily becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period.

You may continue using paid membership benefits until the end of that period unless access is suspended for non-payment, fraud, unauthorized sharing, abuse or another legally permitted reason.

Future renewal charges stop after cancellation becomes effective.

There is no minimum commitment unless a specific offer clearly states one before purchase.

7. Separately purchased content

Ending a membership does not automatically cancel access to a video or other digital product purchased separately.

Separately purchased access continues for the period and under the license stated for that product, subject to the Terms of Service.

8. Refunds

Subscription payments are refundable when required by mandatory law and in the circumstances described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation does not create a prorated refund for unused days in the current paid billing period.

9. Trials, discounts and promotions

If a subscription includes a free trial, introductory price, coupon or promotional benefit, its duration, price and conversion terms will be disclosed before purchase.

Unless you cancel before the disclosed conversion or renewal date, the subscription may automatically continue at the recurring price disclosed in the offer.

Eligibility restrictions may apply. Promotions may not be combined unless expressly allowed.

Surgie may limit introductory offers to one per person, account, household, payment method or other reasonable eligibility criterion where clearly disclosed.

10. Price changes

Surgie may change a recurring subscription price prospectively.

When required by law or when a change is material, Surgie will provide advance notice stating the new price and effective date.

You may cancel before the change takes effect.

A price change will not retroactively alter a completed billing period.

11. Changes to plan benefits and content availability

Surgie may update plan features and content availability to reflect creator rights, licensing changes, product improvements, legal requirements, privacy requirements, safety concerns or technical conditions.

Individual titles may be added, replaced, restricted or removed.

Surgie will provide applicable notice or remedies when a change materially affects an active paid commitment and the law requires such notice or remedy.

12. Personal use and account security

A consumer membership is personal to the account holder and may not be transferred, sold or shared.

Sharing credentials, enabling unauthorized concurrent access, copying, screen recording, retransmitting content or bypassing access controls may result in suspension or termination, without affecting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this Subscription Policy limits a statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
